Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs) are an employer-led initiative in England, funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and led by Skills England. They are designed to help reshape technical education and training so it better meets the skills needs of local employers and economies.
PROJECT SCOPE
LTCA was approached to create a brand new visual identity for the Local Skills Improvement Plans, developing a clear and flexible brand that could be used across different regions and communications.
The project began with establishing the core visual direction and creating a distinctive identity that could communicate the purpose of LSIPs while remaining professional, accessible and adaptable across a range of applications.
We developed the brand identity and supporting design language to create a consistent visual presence across all LSIP marketing and communications. This included copywriting and the creation of digital and web assets, social media graphics, marketing materials and print assets.
The identity was designed as a flexible visual system that could be carried consistently across different channels and applications, from digital and social media through to printed materials and exhibition graphics. The overall approach was to create a strong and recognisable brand that could provide consistency across the full range of LSIP communications.
The Results
The new LSIP identity provides a clear and consistent visual presence across digital, social, print and exhibition communications.
The flexible brand system gives the initiative a recognisable identity that can be applied across different marketing channels and materials, while the supporting assets provide a practical toolkit for ongoing communications and engagement with employers and stakeholders.
