Dhillons Brewery is an independent Coventry craft brewery, taproom and events venue producing fresh beer in the heart of the city. Alongside its own range of beers, the brewery hosts tours and live events and offers UK-wide beer delivery, creating a business with strong links to the local community.
PROJECT SCOPE
The project involved developing a series of craft beer cans specifically for Coventry City Football Club, bringing together the character of Dhillons Brewery with the identity and heritage of the football club. Each can was given its own visual treatment while maintaining a consistent connection across the collection.
The designs were created to give each can its own distinctive character while maintaining a clear visual connection across the collection. The project also included creative work for Dhillons Brewery’s internal promotional activity, supporting the brewery’s wider communications.
The Coventry connection was an important part of the project, bringing together an independent local brewery, Coventry City Football Club and a product designed specifically for the club’s supporter community.
The work shown here was created during my time as a Director at Parallel Creative and represents projects I was personally involved in before starting LTCA. We’ve included a selection to give an insight into my previous experience, creative involvement and the range of branding, design and marketing projects I’ve worked on over the years. All client names, brands and associated intellectual property remain with their respective owners.
The Results
The project created a distinctive collection of promotional craft beer cans with a strong visual connection to Coventry City Football Club. The designs gave Dhillons Brewery a recognisable product range that combined creative design, football and local identity.
Alongside the beer can designs, the additional promotional work provided Dhillons Brewery with creative assets for its wider internal communications. Together, the project delivered a collection of distinctive designs that reflected both the brewery and its connection with Coventry City.
